Success in academics is about having excellent study skills and effective reading, writing, and research strategies. But it is also about more than studying. Factors such as time management, motivation, and self-care play a big part in your experience. Understanding more about your personal areas of strength and opportunity can help you build a foundation for structure, peace, and progress in your academic journey. The Well-Ordered Mind’s Academic Wellness inventory is a diagnostic tool that identifies your health in six key areas:
- Time Management
- Self-Care
- Motivation
- Perceived Value of the Curriculum
- Academic Self-Efficacy
- Sense of Belonging
The Academic Wellness Inventory has specific versions for graduate students and undergrads. I don’t have a high school version yet, but I am working on it! The process works like this: You complete an online survey, I compile your results, and then we meet to discuss your areas of strength and areas of opportunity. This initial consultation is free, and you have no obligation to continue the coaching relationship. If you are interested in pursuing coaching, you can purchase a coaching session or package (4, 8, or 12 sessions).
To get started, click on the button below to schedule a free consultation. Make sure you indicate that you would like to take the Academic Wellness Inventory in the comments box (“Please share anything that will help prepare for our meeting”). Because of the time it takes for you to complete the survey and for me to compile your results, please schedule the consultation at least one week in advance.
